Through Adventist Giving, we empower our church members on how you decide to give back what belongs to our Lord. Whether if you're unable to be present on Sabbath day because of an illness, or you prefer electronic transactions when speaking about your financials, we have your covered. Friends and family are also welcome to use this option when donating for an event or purpose.
If you would like to donate towards our local Laurelwood church budget (which is not towards any specific church department but rather local church bills & expenses), please insert your donation on "Combined Budget".
We invite you to experience the blessings that our Lord can rain down onto to your home and those who surround you. At the end, we encourage you to give back with faith & an honest heart.
As many have heard already, the State of California is affected by wildfires, and many residents have lost their properties. A series of fires erupted in southern California on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, amid extremely dry and windy weather conditions.
As of a January 14 news report, the death toll had risen to at least 20 confirmed; and more than 180,000 people have been forced from their homes. The largest blaze, the Pacific Palisades Fire, is now considered the most destructive in Los Angeles City history, and there are still fires burning in neighborhoods all across southern California.
Six churches in the Southern California Conference have currently set up shelters for the displaced and those experiencing power interruption; and local Adventist Community Services (ACS) is collecting non-perishable items for those in need.
In addition to praying for those affected by these wildfires, members across the division can give directly to conference relief efforts by donating to the “California Fires” fund. Those who are contributing online can select "California Fires," enter amount, click "Continue to Donate," and either log in or continue as guest. This opportunity is available through AdventistGiving so if you'd like to help now, click the button below.
